I think that, honestly, the old landlord shouldn’t have made assumptions that you were making assumptions, and that whole mess with the deposit? Crazy. Jerry, you are an awesome person, and I know for a fact that making assumptions is a bad idea to begin with. I agree with you, that wife and husband should’ve had help. Feel free to refollow me on Twitter if you like, I’m sorry you went through all that mess. Glad you’re getting the deposit back, though. 🙂
OK: I left a comment on the first post about this deposit clusterfuck, and…yep, after seeing this update, you were just dealing with people who apparently didn’t really have time to run a rental business! That shit takes lots of work, a little brain power, and, yes, a few decent people to help now and then, cuz, running rental properties can be a 25 hour per day, 8 day per week job at times no doubt!
